MAP Test Results

Covenant Schools administer the NWEA MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) three times a year (fall, winter, and spring). This test measures academic growth and achievement in reading and math. The test is administered to over 5.5 million students nationwide, providing rankings relative to peers.

Improved Proficiency

Returning 7th grade students outperformed Bridgeport public schools in both math and reading proficiency, achieving 67% in both subjects compared to Bridgeport's 18%.

Exceptional Growth

Over the 2023-2024 school year, our returning 7th grade students improved in reading and math greater than 95% of other students around the country. Returning 6th grade students improved in reading greater than 94% of other students and more than 75% of students in math.

Leading In Math

In math proficiency, our 6th grade students scored 41% higher than those in Bridgeport public schools and our 7th graders scored 58% higher.
