Teaching Fellow Program

The Covenant School Teaching Fellowship Program is open to recent college graduates who desire to have a positive impact on the education and development of our students. Teaching Fellows gain classroom experience, school leadership opportunities and the ability to pursue graduate degree programs.

Responsibility

Make a two-year commitment to Covenant School of Bridgeport.

Experience

Teach two or three classes, serve as an advisor, and supervise school activities.

Involvement

Organize, coach, and oversee afternoon activities for our students.

Coordination

Coordinate school programs, projects, and events with us.

Get Involved

The Covenant School difference is made possible by the generosity of benefactors and the support of volunteers. There are many ways to make a difference in the lives of Covenant School students. Every person has individual talents that can benefit our school in some way.

What can you do?

We invite you to consider how you can uniquely contribute to our community and our students.

Tutoring

Tutor a student in math, reading, writing, or with his homework assignments

Lead Activities

Lead an after-school activity in an area of your interest, e.g. public speaking, photography, music, dance, school newspaper, poetry writing, art, etc.

Be A Coach

Coach a sport that our students play, or assist the current sports coach.

Work In-Office

Assist in our philanthropy office and help us organize new opportunities for our students.
